The forum is a premier biennial event bringing thought leaders together to discuss hot topics and issues facing the sectors and to workshop and uncover solutions to some of the industry’s biggest workforce challenges. 


The event is designed to redefine the experience of people using aged and disability service across the Territory with a focus on workforce.

SETTING WORK & TIME PRIORITIES When everything seems important!


Our lives and our work roles will generally provide us with the age-old challenge of “making the best use of our time”. Particularly in the world of Disability and Aged Care, we often find ourselves with conflicting priorities and in particular the need to ‘manage in the moment’ as unknowns arise. This interactive Master Class provides you with practical tools, effective techniques and your very own workbook of resources. The training supports you to set meaningful goals, with realistic plans to achieve them, guides you on how to prioritise tasks, manage time pressures, achieve work commitments and improve productivity. 


Skill sets and techniques include: Analysing your time use, prioritising your daily workload, ‘Urgent vs Important’, communicating your work plan to others, dealing with procrastination and managing successful delegation.


Outcomes from this Masterclass will include:

• Setting and attaining work goals
• Planning for and executing work priorities and effective productivity
• Applying time and task management techniques for successful outcomes


ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

John McNeur is passionate about education, personal growth and development. John has background in teaching, communications, marketing, management, project management, public speaking, counselling and support. His skills, work experience, life experience and dedication allow him to teach a wide variety of subjects with a professional but personal style. John enjoys helping people to move forward in their careers, in their personal lives and finding a balance between the two.

Caring for someone can be a demanding, stressful, and exhausting and you are probably not looking after yourself to prevent burnout and workplace wellbeing. Let this workshop get your started or reboot your journey.


In this interactive workshop, you will take away:

  • the impact of limiting beliefs and ways to create positive beliefs
  • ways to improve your self-esteem with quick, easy, free, and low-cost ways
  • how affirmations and visualisations can change your life
  • how to create a stronger connection with your Inner knowingness and tap into your own potential

This interactive, fun, and engaging workshop offers simple, quick, and effective self-care tools and techniques to self-manage in busy, burn-out environments, especially when you know better, and need to do better. 


ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Sharon Schmidt—Intuitive Consultant and Wellness Practitioner. A professional Psychic/Medium, Facilitator, Speaker, Holistic Coach, Counsellor and Mentor. She is the 'Hugging Intuitive", a voice for Spirit - she speaks from the heart. She is the director of the esoteric business Intuitive Souls, offering one-on-one, group, private, corporate, and public sessions, workshops, retreats, face-to- face and online services. 


Sharon incorporates her lived experience into her work and combines it with her journey of ever learning creating safe, fun, practical and uplifting events. She has an open mind, is friendly, reliable, and an exceptionally good listener. She takes responsibility for creating her own life and walks with you sharing the tools, guidance, and love allow you to do the same. 


Sharon is a certified and licensed HYL® Workshop Leader and Teens Facilitator as well as a HYL® Coach, authorised by Hay House, Inc., and approved by Louise Hay and is an accredited meditation teacher and holistic counsellor (Cert.Med.Hol.Couns). She is a proud member of International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT).
